Applying for Housing
You must be admitted to the university before you can apply for housing. Both the tuition and dorm deposits must be paid before housing assignments are made.
Fall deposits received after May 1 and spring deposits returned after December 1 are non-refundable. Any refund request must be made in writing and postmarked no later than May 1 for the fall semester and December 1 for the spring semester.
All freshmen and sophomores that live further than a fifty mile radius of Indiana Tech must live on campus. For more information on exemptions or to request a release from this requirement, please visit the FAQ section on “Do I have to live on campus?”
For more information on how room assignments are made, please visit our assignment process page.
Indiana Tech is committed to creating a positive and respectful community for all our residents. Celebrating our diverse community and challenging the likes of racism, sexism, and other forms of oppression are key for a successful environment and well-being for our students.
If you feel like you are a victim of discrimination or harassment, we strongly encourage you to notify the university using our Title IX Complaint form. More information about Title IX compliance can be found on the human resources website.
