Summer Housing
Who Can Live in Summer Housing?
Summer Housing is available to students who were registered for spring semester classes and are in good standing with the University. All applicants must be approved by the business office (see details below).
How Do I Apply?
Current Spring Residents: can find the Summer Housing Application in their Residence Life Portal starting on Monday, April 21st, 2025.
Spring Commuter Students: Need to pay the Housing Deposit and email residencelife@indianatech.edu.
What are the Costs and Payment Plans?
The cost for Summer Housing in 2025 is $2,314. Students with a financial hold (balance above $2,500) will not be approved unless the past-due balance plus half of the summer housing cost is paid.
If you have no previous balance issues, you may choose one of two payment options:
- Pay in full
- Pay half upfront ($1,157) and the remaining $1,157 on a three-month plan with payments due on May 30th, June 30th, and July 30th.
Note: Move-in approval will not be granted until the upfront payment has been received!
Where Will I Be Living?
All summer residents will be housed in Yergens-Rogers Hall, a four-bedroom apartment on the north side of Washington Blvd (located between Summit Hall and the fraternity house). In each apartment, two bedrooms share a bathroom (including a shower and sink), and there is a common kitchen and living room.
Do I Need to Move? When?
If you do not currently reside in Yergens-Rogers Hall, you will remain in your spring residence until your summer apartment becomes available (usually within the month after graduation). You will then check out from your spring residence (pack, clean, and move out) and move into your Yergens-Rogers apartment. In the first week of August, you will move into your fall residence to accommodate incoming fall residents of Yergens-Rogers Hall.
What About Meals and Laundry?
Meals are not provided during the summer months; each student is responsible for their own meals. Laundry facilities are available on every floor.
